Guten Tag zusammen 
Ich suche für eine Freundin ein Zitat, die es gaaanz dringend (heute noch) für ihre Abschlußarbeit braucht.
Es geht ungefähr so:
Jede Gesellschaft muß sich daran messen lassen, wie sie mit Kindern, mit Alten und mit Kranken umgeht…
Wer kennt das Zitat und weiß, von wem es stammt?

mir ist etwas Ähnliches untergekommen:
„The greatness of a nation consists not so much in the number of its people or the ectent of its territory as in the extent and justice of ist compassion“.
Offenbar wurde dergleichen hin und wieder an unterschiedliche Situationen angepaßt.
