Ich kenne das Programm. Leider hat es so seine Macken.
Es versteckt die Datei in einer WAV-Datein und bildet dann eine MP3 daraus. Doch was WAV ist und was nicht, da hat MP3Stego seine eigenen Votstellungen. Bis jetzt hat es ausser seiner eigenen Beispiel-Datei bei mir keine WAV-Datei als Ausgangsträger akzeptiert.

eine MP3 daraus. Doch was WAV ist und was nicht, da hat
MP3Stego seine eigenen Votstellungen. Bis jetzt hat es ausser
seiner eigenen Beispiel-Datei bei mir keine WAV-Datei als
Ausgangsträger akzeptiert.
Komisch. Ich habe es mal spontan mit einer Wav-Datei hier auf der Platte getestet - und wie es aussieht, eher erfolgreich (dummerweise raucht meine ranzelige Hardware hier gerade ab… 
)

Ja, und damit bin ich beim nächsten Problem von MP3Stego. Die WAV-Datei muss mono sein. Damit ist es die MP3 ja wohl auch und damit ist alles unbrauchbar.
Steganografie ist eine schöne Sache, aber leider werden dafür immer Dateiformate wie .BMP, .GIF oder eben .WAV
Zeug also das keiner normalerweise freiwillig verschickt. Also fällt der Sender schon dadurch auf (Big NSA is watching YOU 
). Aber ein Dokument in einer MP3-Datei verstecken (in stereo natürlich ), wäre wirklich cool. Das müsste wirklich erfunden werden.

Und ja: die Datei, die ich in dem MP3 verstckt habe war ein LaTeX-File und ist auch inhaltlich passend. Und das mp3 ist auch in Stereo (Jon Bon Jovi live & unplugged; lustig)

Bleibt das Problem, dass MP3Stego meine WAV-Dateien nicht mag. Ich habe eigentlich kaum WAVs und muss MP3s erst nach WAV wandeln. Unter Berücksichtigung von 16-bit, 44.1 MHz, und mono natürlich. Aber obwohl MP3Stego diese Werte bestätig kommt die Meldung
[Error] Can’t find data chunk.

Komisch. Was für komische Wav-Dateien hast Du, wie ruftst Du das Programm auf und welches Betriebssystem nutzt Du?

Habe Windows XP und die WAVs bekomme ich eigentlich daduch, das ich erst Mal eine MP3 in WAV wandle (Woher sonst nehmen wenn nicht stehlen ). Die WAVs laufen aber in jedem Player problemlos ab und auch der Header sieht vernünftig aus.
