Hi,
das einzige was mir jetzt so spontan einfällt, ist „They dance alone“ von Sting. Ist 7:15 lang. Dazu muss man sagen, dass das Lied ziemlich in die Länge gezogen ist, sprich die letzten 1:30 min sind z.b. komplett instrumental. Ist das schlimm?
Aber für ein Referat ist das gut. In dem Lied geht um Pinochet und seine „politischen Folter und Morde“.
Vielleicht hilfts dir ja weiter.

Wieso suchst Du eigentlich nach einem möglichst langen Lied?
Da bleiben Dir ja doch noch ca. 4-8 Minuten, um etwas über das Lied zu erzählen. Ich halte das für zu wenig Zeit, um ein gutes Referat zu halten, aber Du musst selbst wissen, wieviel eigenen Inhalt Du bereit bist zu liefern, und was für eine Note Du erreichen willst.
Eine Bekannte von mir hat als Lehrerin eine ganze Unterrichtseinheit (3-4 Unterrichtsstunden) über „Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer than they are“ (ca 7 min.) von Meat Loaf (aus dem Album „Bat out of Hell II“) gemacht und die Schüler waren begeistert.

Ansonsten empfiehlt die Hausfrau (falls noch nicht genannt) :
wobei sich bei 1,2 und 4 das Referat auf die Mucke und deren Struktur beziehen könnte; zu 3 lässt sich herrlich über Edgar Allan Poe schwafeln; 5 versteht den Text im Grunde der älteste Mann der Welt nicht, so dass Kuchenbacken, A****backen und das Liebesleben der Pflastersteine während der Kulturrevolution in Tsingtao angesprochen werden könnten … Hinter 6 und 7 verbirgt sich jeweils eine wahre Begebenheit.
